A Spring Table Setting, Inspired By Two Cute Lilly Pulitzer-esque Lamps

Welcome to the 920th Tablescape Thursday! We’re out on the porch this week, and I’m happy to say that the recent fan update is complete.

Honeywell Outdoor-rated Ceiling Fans for Screened Porch

The painter came yesterday and painted the area of the ceiling where the previous fan base had been a tad wider than the recently installed new fans.

So here’s how that area looks now.

Spring Dining on the Screened Porch

Happy Spring! I love that with each passing day, the daylight stays with us just a little bit longer. Love, love, love these sunshiny days!

Spring 2026 Tablescape, Floral Table Celebration

These cute floral lamps were the inspiration for this week’s table setting. They were a recent find in HomeGoods. The last time I visited HG, the shelves were pretty sparse, nothing like it used to be back in the day. Well, HomeGoods is back! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked in; it was just like the old days with well-stocked shelves and so many enticing goodies for spring.

Floral rechargeable LED Lamps

I’ve resisted the urge to buy any of the cute rechargeable lamps I’ve been seeing online, worried that they wouldn’t hold a charge for very long and I’d be forever having to recharge them. These adorable floral lamps reminded me so much of Lilly Pulitzer’s happy florals, so I decided to give them a chance. They took several hours to charge, not sure how many since they were still charging when I turned in for the night. I’m hoping that means they’ll stay charged up for a long time.

Bunny Centerpiece with Two Baskets

I was amazed to find how sophisticated they are for such small lamps. They have three light settings (warm, cool, and natural) and are dimmable. I couldn’t find them online to link to them for you, but the packaging states: Pretty Revival by Marlow Glen. Their dimensions are 15 x 5.5 x 4.5 inches. I think they would be perfect for outdoor dining on a spring or summer evening. Update: You’ll find a similar rechargeable lamp available here: Rechargeable Cordless Lamp.  These are cute and in a more neutral color: Rechargeable Cordless Lamp. I love the look of this one: Cordless Rattan Rechargeable Lamp.

Beaded Dragonfly Napkin Rings

This table was a bit of a challenge. I was determined to use the new lamps, and in the process, I discovered that I don’t have a lot of dinnerware that has the shade of blue seen in the lamps. This may be the first time I’ve used either of the napkins I chose for this table. The blue ones are from Pottery Barn, several years back. The colorful ones are from HERE, but may no longer be available. I’ve had them for a couple of years.

Fun Napkins for a Spring Table

The floral chargers are by Kim Parker and the pattern is Emma’s Garland. The wine glasses and dragonfly napkin rings are a favorite from Pier 1. (Come back Pier 1!)

The bunny plates were another find in Pier 1. (Come back Pier 1!)

Spring Table in Bright Happy Colors

Do you see that sweet kitty lounging on the swing? lol I was late in getting this table started since the painter was here painting the ceiling around the base of the fans. Once he was done and I started setting this table, the kitties kept me company (and happily distracted) throughout the afternoon. >^..^<

Spring Table Setting

I couldn’t wait to see how the table looked after dark. (Cat spotting is allowed in this post.) 😉

Darker still…

Spring Table, Floral Lamps

I don’t know if I’ve done this before, but I thought I’d share a picture of how the porch looks at night with ALL of the lamps on. I used to have an outdoor floor lamp in the corner behind the swing, but after many years of being there, its shade started to crumble. This picture makes the lamplight feel a bit harsh and glaring. It doesn’t feel like that at all when you’re out here on the porch. It’s pretty and soft in person.

Porch Lit with Lamps

I was so surprised when I looked up and saw I had caught the Blue Hour. That was unintentional. Loved seeing it! You can read more about the Blue Hour in this previous post:  The Secret of the Blue Hour.

Blue Hour from the Porch

Here’s how the table looked with all the porch lamps turned off. Amazing how much light these little lamps put out! I had them on the “natural” setting for this photo—that’s my favorite of the three settings.

LED Lamps, Porch Dining After Dark

Hope you enjoyed this spring table, inspired by cute little floral lamps that feel like they should be for sale at Lilly Pulitzer. I wish they were available online, but check your local HomeGoods/TJMax if you would like a pair. Hopefully, your store will still have them in stock.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

I have one of those rechargeable lights and was surprised how well I liked it. Your table looks beautiful and loved the kitty sightings.

    • Thanks, Catherine! I hope they stayed charged a while. I love the idea of having light anywhere its needed without having to worry about an outlet or cord.

  4. LOVE it! Those little lamps are the cutest! I’ve always wanted some – maybe I’ll add them to my gift list in case somebody feels generous before Christmas… Glad you got to use the napkins too. The whole setting is lovely! Thanks for the inspiration and the party! Happy Thursday!

  5. Love the lamps!! I am crazy about your porch. I see a cup of coffee and a book if I lived there!

    love this house so beautiful.

I really like your rechargeable lamps. They are a good size to be included in a table setting. They would also be helpful whenever you lose power!

  8. Such a pretty table Susan! I love the new lamps and the blue with the pink. I must check our HomeSense (your HomeGoods) and see what they have for lamps. Thanks so much for the inspiration and happy Thursday!

  9. Kathleen says

So PRETTY. Something about all those colors coming together. The bunny plate, bunny centerpiece, all the colorful flowers! I caught the blue hour the other night. I didn’t realize what I was looking at until I read this post! L!ove the lamps

    • It really does make for beautiful photos. I’ve seen it in real estate photos in the past, but didn’t know what it was either until I learned more about it. It’s fascinating to me how you can’t see it with the naked eye, but it shows up in photos that are taken at just the right time.

  10. I love those lamps. We are headed towards hurricane season June 1st. I keep looking at the battery sconces. Looks like you were photo bombed by cuteness. Such a lovely home Susan. Both homes are uniquely different. Did you remove that one section of the porch?

    • lol I was! Thanks so much, Myrna. It’s a challenge keeping the porch in tip-top condition with our crazy GA weather.
I haven’t had that section of the deck removed yet—still trying to decide if I should remove it or just have it repaired.

  11. Judy Hubbard says

Your porch looks wonderful! I’ll bet you are glad to be back in Atlanta with warmer weather in your beautiful home! How long do you plan to stay there before returning to Ohio? Happy Spring but I have to say in Scottsdale it’s already too hot!

    • Yes! Love our warmer weather here. Not sure, but probably too much longer.
I bet, I just looked it up and you’re already in the 90s there. Wow!

  12. Michele M. says

What a fun, whimsical and colorful tablescape, Susan. Your lamps are really popping! Hope you are having a nice weekend. Supposed to be close to 90 degrees on Monday here. You left too soon lol.

  13. Catherine Carlson says

Hi Susan! I live on Long Island, New York, and have seen the blue light often.
Generally, it is visible in the fall and winter. We were writing poetry one night in a women’s church group meeting, and I wrote about the blue light. It wasn’t well received so maybe others hadn’t noticed it. I take a moment to soak it in before I go about my kitchen chores. Perhaps it is visible in a west sky as that is where I see it, just as sunset is coming to a close.

    • Catherine, I have lived in the east and the west. The Blue Light in Arizona was beautiful, as were the particularly spectacular sunsets. I’m sorry your poem wasn’t well received. That’s sad to hear, since the blue light is truly special. As you said, perhaps the others hadn’t noticed it. It is certainly worth noticing! Maybe they will pay closer attention, now that they’ve heard your poem. 🙂

    • Hopefully, they went home and looked it up online to learn more. I don’t think a lot of people are familiar with it, especially since it’s pretty much invisible to the naked eye. Since the time the blue hour occurs in different parts of the world changes throughout the year, there’s a website (https://www.bluehoursite.com/ ) where you can enter in the area where you live, and it will show the time frame during which you can take photos and catch the blue hour.

  14. If you can find a World Market it reminds me of Pier One.

    • Oh, good idea! I haven’t been to a World Market in a long time. The nearest one to me is about 20 minutes away. I should check it out and see what they carry now. That’s where I purchased the ottoman in my office.

  15. Susan, I didn’t even realize these rechargeable lamps were available! (I really should get out more!) They look so cute and I love the way Mr. Bunny’s flowers mimic those in the lamp shades. And I do seem to remember those happy flamingo and pineapple napkins. I love the colors. What a happy tablescape. You never cease to amaze me with your ‘infinite variety.’

This year we have had THE most beautiful Spring I can ever remember. It has been perfection. Today it is cloudy, (rats) and rain is forecast for next week. I’m not complaining though, because it has been incredible. I hope you’re enjoying your weekend.

    • Thanks so much, Pam! You’re so right, this has been a wonderful spring! We need more rain here, but I sure have enjoyed all the sunny days and cool nights we’ve been having!
Have a fabulous weekend and get lots of rest after all that gardening you’ve been doing!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
