Welcome to the 635th Metamorphosis Monday, a blog party sharing fabulous Before and Afters!
I have the cutest bunny napkin fold to share with you! I remember seeing a similar fold years ago somewhere and last night I decided to see if I could recreate it from memory.
This has to be the easiest, fastest napkin fold to make! Seriously! It is so easy and takes just a few seconds to make. For this napkin fold, you’ll need a square napkin of your choice, a real (boiled) or a faux, colored egg, and some jute yarn. Ribbon will work just as well if you prefer that over yarn. For my bunny napkin fold, I decided to go with a solid-colored napkin.
I used a pastel pink, faux egg for my fold. I found a bunch of these pastel-colored faux eggs several years back–can’t remember where now since it’s been so long, but colored eggs or Easter eggs are usually pretty easy to find this time of year. If you will be boiling and coloring eggs this year, you can definitely use a real egg for this tutorial.
Before I started, I pressed my napkin to remove any wrinkles. To make this bunny fold, fold your napkin in half, corner to corner.
After folding your napkin, starting rolling your napkin, beginning where the pointed ends meet.
Keep rolling until the napkin is fully rolled up.
Fold the rolled napkin ends upward.
Place your egg in the bend of the fold and tie a small piece of yarn or ribbon around your bunny ears to form the bunny’s head.
Here’s how your Bunny napkin fold will look when completed.
Adjust or spread out the ears a bit, if you prefer. You could even turn the tip of one ear downward. This fold is sooo easy and adorable–definitely has to be one of my favorite napkin folds for spring! Happy Spring!
