Happy weekend! Hope you are having a great one! I have quite a few favorites to share with you, a mix of favorites from the month of April, plus a few things that came across my radar recently that I thought you would enjoy.
Several years back, I purchased THIS nesting package that contains 4-5 different types of nesting material to help birds with building their spring nests. I placed it inside a suet holder, and the birds have enjoyed it over the years. The most popular nesting material in that package has been the cotton. I’ve seen several birds pulling cotton out this spring, and now the cotton is all gone. My backyard Chickadees really liked it for their nests this spring, so I just ordered this USA-grown cotton nesting material today to refill the suet holder. It has great reviews, so I’m looking forward to spoiling my backyard birds with it. If you would like to provide some nesting material for your backyard birds, you’ll find this nesting cotton available here: Nesting Material.

I’ve had so much going on since I returned to Georgia, I haven’t had time to visit my favorite birding store for birdseed. I’ve been ordering this seed online, and my birds really love it. It draws a huge variety of birds.

Here are just a few of the types of birds that enjoy this seed. I ordered more today and it just arrived. You’ll find it available here: Great Bird Seed.

This is my favorite popcorn when I’m craving a snack. It’s not overly salty like some brands can be and I love that it’s only 80 calories per bag. You’ll find it available here: Great Snacking Popcorn, Only 80 Calories.

Of course, the three Ring Floodlight Cameras I’ve had installed over the past month had to make my favorites list. I’ve really enjoyed having those, especially when I’ve had deliveries made at my garage door.

This is the Ring floodlight that I always buy and have had great success using. I love how easy it is to connect to my home WiFi. You’ll find it on sale here: Ring Camera Floodlights.

One of my favorite designers, James Farmer, released a new book last September. I have really enjoy his previous books, so I couldn’t wait to add this one to my decor library. If you’re a James Farmer fan, you’ll find his latest book available here: Home Again by James Farmer.

Speaking of books, recently I shared the new Peterson Field Guide that I just ordered. I have enjoyed using my older Peterson guide for so long, I decided to order a new one. (The guide below is available here: Peterson Field Guide to Birds for Eastern and Central North America.) If you live in the Western part of the U.S, check out this Peterson Field Guide book for your area: Peterson Field Guide to Birds of Western North America. There’s also one that covers the whole U.S. I just ordered it today. You’ll find it available here: Peterson Field Guide to Birds of North America.

I came across this top today and at first, I thought it might be a sleep shirt, but it’s actually listed as a beach/swimsuit cover-up. Since it’s 100% cotton, I bet it could work as a sleepshirt, too. Anyway, I thought it was super cute so wanted to share it with you in today’s favorites list. You’ll find this colorful cover-up here: Beach Swimsuit Cover-up.

I have way too much going on right now to think about puzzles, but I couldn’t resist this gorgeous puzzle when I came across it today online. I want to live in this tree house right now! Want to join me? 🙂 I’ve had puzzles by the company that made this puzzle before, and they’ve always been great, so I ordered this one without hesitating. There are 7 beautiful puzzles at that link and I’m sure I’ll end up ordering a few more. I may have to frame this one for my office, once I complete it. I just love everything about it! You’ll find this beautiful puzzle here: Dreamy Tree House Surrounded By Flowers.

The new ceiling fans were installed on the screened porch yesterday, can’t wait to share how those look with you on Monday for Metamorphosis Monday! Happy weekend!

I buy sunflower hearts from Chewy. I even get blue birds. They have trouble cracking hard shells but seem to love the hearts.
I like to put those out too since the bluebirds can’t crack the sunflower seeds, as you mentioned. Bluebirds also really love mealworms and feed those to their babies. I love it when they start bringing their babies to the deck for the meal worms. Helene, you may enjoy this post where I shared some photos of the bluebirds that nest each year in my Dovecote in the front yard: https://betweennapsontheporch.net/bluebirds-visit-mealworm-feeder/
James Farmer is a “fav” of mine, too!! TY for heads up!! franki
Great finds! I love that you help the birdies nest. 🙂
