My May Favorites, Plus, A Few Recent Purchases That Have Been A Big Hit With Family

Before I share my May favorites, I have a few recent finds to share, including these pretty, floral-embroidered sneakers. I briefly shared these a few days ago when I found them online. About an hour or two later, I discovered they were available for a lot less elsewhere, and updated that post.

Sneakers with embroidered Flowers, So cute

I ordered two pairs, and when they arrived, I was surprised to see the bottoms of the shoes are almost as pretty as the sides.

I ordered a pair in pink and a pair in white. The white ones just arrived as I was typing this. These cute sneakers normally sell for $69.99, but they are currently available on Amazon in quite colors for much less here: Embroidered Sneakers in Pink, White, and 4 More Colors.

The purchase that has been the biggest hit so far this month is this pet stroller. My grandsons love taking the kitties for a stroll. I wish you could have seen my son’s face when I pushed the cats over to his house. He’s a big cat lover, so he got the biggest kick out of seeing these babies in their stroller. A few days ago, my grandsons went on a longer walk with my daughter-in-law. I took them out for a stroll earlier today. It was so much fun, I’m going to try doing that every single morning before the day heats up. Our weather has been milder the last few days, so it was perfect today for a walk around the block. I wish I had known about these strollers months ago.

I like that when the kitties are inside, they can look up and see who is pushing them. It’s also easy to see what they are up to as I’m pushing them.

This stroller has two pockets on the back. One is perfect for holding a cell phone, and the other works great for holding a water bottle or a 20 oz Yeti tumbler. There’s also a rather large compartment at the bottom of the stroller that’s a great size for storing away a rain jacket and a plastic bowl for giving pets water during longer walks. I’m going to store an umbrella in that compartment, too—just in case it rains one day while we are out on a walk. I’m super tempted to order a second stroller so that as the kitties continue to grow, they will each have their own stroller. It’s pretty roomy, though, so that may not be necessary, but I know my grandsons would love to each have their own kitty to push. lol This awesome pet stroller is available here: Pet Stroller for Cats and Dogs.

I noticed recently that this beautiful top that reminds me so much of Lilly Pulitzer designs is back again this spring. If you missed out on this pretty top last year, you’ll find it available here: Lilly Pulitzer-style Top.

One of my top May favorites is this vacuum that I ordered to use in the basement/terrace level of the house in Georgia, so I don’t have to carry a vacuum up and down the stairs. I’m really pleased with how it worked on the floors in that space. I haven’t tried it on carpet yet, but it worked great on the hard surfaces in the basement. You can read more about it and check out the reviews where I purchased it here: Cordless Vacuum.

Last month I purchased this brush. I forgot to bring it with me to Ohio, so I ended up purchasing it again to keep here. It’s so gentle on hair—doesn’t snag or pull longer hair. I think it would be great for almost any type/thickness of hair. The tool that comes with it works great for removing hair that gets caught in the bristles. I very much recommend it! You’ll find it available here: Amazing Brush for All Hair Types, Including Thick Hair.

I shared this handy bandage organizer a few months back. I like it so much, I purchased a second one when I was in Georgia.

Now my Band-Aids and first-aid ointments are all organized there, too! It’s so nice to have everything right where you need it when you have a minor injury or cut that needs bandaging. You’ll find this awesome organizer available here: Bandage Organizer.

One last item I have to share since it worked beautifully for the trip to Ohio. The cats did so great in this carrier. The only thing I would change is I probably hsould have gone with a smaller size. This was the largest one that I saw available here: Cat or Dog Carrier, and it would easily hold a couple of medium-sized dogs. The cats loved it, and each time I stopped to let them go potty and to stretch their legs inside the car, they loved lounging on top of it. It’s super versatile since it can be used as two separate carriers or as one large one, just depending on which screens you lower and zip. Plus, it’s super easy to reach a pet from the front or the sides. I loved it and so did the cats. I very much recommend it for anyone traveling with pets. You’ll find it available here: Cat or Dog Carrier.
