Welcome to the 772nd Tablescape Thursday! July is turning out to be a fun month for sales. Amazon just had their huge 2-day Prime Days Sale, Nordstrom is in the midst of their once-a-year Anniversary Sale which opens up to everyone on Monday and a lot of my favorite stores are celebrating Christmas in July. With so many great sales happening, I decided to see what’s on sale for us dish lovers.
Pottery Barn has these adorable Seahorse and crab napkin rings on sale. There is still plenty of summer left and these would be great for our beachy tables. They are currently on sale here: Seahorse and Crab Napkin Rings.
I only have one set of white dinnerware and I use it all the time. I’ve been thinking of adding another set and this one is on sale–down from $130 to $42.99, and that’s for a service for 6! Great price! If you could use a set of white dinnerware for all year round, this one is on sale here: White Dinnerware-6 Place Settings.
This beautiful Villeroy & Boch French Garden dinnerware is also on sale for less than half-price! I love the pattern, it’s such a classic, never-go-out-of-style design.
It reminds me so much of my V& B dinnerware that I bought over 30 years ago. My son was just a toddler when I purchased this pattern from Macy’s. The classic designs last forever and ever–love that!

You’ll find this beautiful pattern on sale here: Villeroy & Boch French Garden.
I fell in love with this dreamy seaside-themed dinnerware the moment I saw it. It makes me think of the setting for a romantic beach novel. I half expect to see a rolled-up message tucked inside one of the bottles. Love this set! It’s on sale for a great price here: Dreamy Seaside Dinnerware.
If you don’t need a full set, the salad plates are on sale here: Dreamy Seaside Dinnerware. They would be beautiful paired with a white or cream-colored china.
This has to be one of the prettiest melamine dinnerware sets I’ve ever seen–I LOVE the fluted edge! I’m super tempted to get a set while it’s on sale. I would love to see this pattern done in porcelain, too. Beautiful! It’s currently on sale here: Lemon, Floral, and Bee Dinnerware.
If you’ve been looking for a beachy dinnerware for your outdoor or poolside parties, this beautiful seaside pattern is currently on sale here, Seaside Dinnerware, made from Bamboo and Melamine.

So many temptations on sale! Thanks Susan!
Lemon/bee dinner ware is no longer available.
That’s disappointing. 🙁 It went fast with the sale.
So many pretties. They have improved melamine so much, it would be hard to tell in photos.
I love that French Garden pattern, and it brings back a memory for me. Years ago I had 2 of the plates hanging on my kitchen wall. They were there for many years when my kids were small. They were never knocked down or disturbed. When my son was a senior in high school, he was standing in front of them with his backpack on his back and accidentally stepped back and knocked them off the wall. They were of, of course, smashed into little pieces. I found it amusing the plates survived the “terrible twos” and everything after, only to be knocked down by an almost-adult!
My favorite dishware is the Villeroy & Boch French Garden pattern. But, I will never be able to afford it. Besides, at 77, do I REALLY need new dinnerware? I rarely entertain and I already have 3 sets of dishes. I’ve already given some sets away. I wouldn’t mind buying a couple plates to hang on my wall though! I love your features on most things, so thank you! You are my favorite Blog spot!!
Thanks so much, Elaine! I love that pattern, too. That’s a great way to enjoy some of the patterns we love when we don’t need another full set, collecting just a single plate or two to enjoy. I like that idea! Sometimes, if it’s a pattern I really love, I will buy just a few of the salad plates and pair them with white dinner plates.
