Thanksgiving Table with Spode Woodland, Waterford Araglin & Towle King Richard

Welcome to the 739th Tablescape Thursday! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I’m not hosting Thanksgiving this year, but after the freezer was delivered yesterday, I put together a small table for four late last night that I hope you’ll enjoy. This post is a mix of photos taken last night in low lighting and a few taken this morning in the natural light coming in through the breakfast room windows.

Thanksgiving Table, Between Naps On The Porch, 2022

Mr. Turkey is kicking off the season in his finest holiday garb. It’s all about the “turkeys” for this Thanksgiving table with turkey soup tureens, turkey place card holders, and of course, Mr. Turkey as our guest of honor in the center of our table.

Between Naps On The Porch, Thanksgiving Table Setting

The crystal stemware is by Waterford, purchased many, many years ago from Macy’s back when their crystal was still being made in Ireland.

The tea/water glasses are in the pattern, Araglin. The champagne glasses are from their 12 Days of Christmas collection, again from Macy’s many, many years ago.

The “5 Golden Rings” etched into the champagne flute are visible in this photo looking down.

I decided to get all fancy for this table and pulled out some adorable knife rests.

I love these cute little ducks for autumn table settings.

The china is Spode Woodland. I only have six place settings, need to purchase another six sometime. It’s one of my favorite, favorite patterns ever! This isn’t the salad plate that comes with this pattern when you purchase a 5-pc place setting. I added the turkey version to my collection a few years later. The regular salad plates are just as wonderful. Love this pattern so much!

Love these Pottery Barn napkin rings for Thanksgiving. One side says, Friends…

…and the other side says, Family. ♥ The flatware is Towle, pattern is King Richard. The salt cellars are from eBay many years ago. The tiny sterling salt spoons are also Towle, King Richard.

These cute turkey place card holders were a find in Pottery Barn many years ago.

When I inherited my salt cellars from my grandmother, I picked out six spoons in six different sterling patterns, yours among them. They are so fun to use because they are so unusual. Love your table and Mr. Turkey, all decked out.

  7. Stunning! Thank you for sharing! Happy Thanksgiving

  10. A beautiful table setting! Love the Woodland and I must chime in on the knife holders!
Hope your day was great and good luck shopping on Black Friday! I’m hoping you bring home lots of bags and share your findings.

  11. Happy Day-After! Those knife rests are perfect. Do you have others? Hope you incorporate them more often. I have a few white crane ones, resembling the folded origami style.

    • I have one other set of 12 that are crystal and that would go with any setting. It makes so much sense to use those because then you don’t have to worry about tablecloths getting soiled. Your white crane ones sound sooo cute!

  12. I love Mr Turkey’s cozy new look, and those place cards are adorable!! I’m totally inspired by your fetive red table cover too – I see some plaid in my future! Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving and are enjoying the holiday weekend! Thanks as always for hosting this fabulous party!

Beautifully put together table, as always! Where in the world did you find the perfect size hat & scarf for Mr. Tom? He’s all ready for the cold days ahead…too sweet. Hugs!

    • Thanks, Bobbi! lol They are actually for decorating a wine bottle. think I found those in Pottery Barn one year. They always have the cutest decorations for wine bottles.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
