Welcome to the 578th Tablescape Thursday!
Marie has three tables that she normally keeps set for the holidays and one is here in her family room. This table doesn’t get used as much as her breakfast room and dining room table do but it’s a great place to eat a snack while watching a game on TV or as extra space when having a large group over for a sit-down meal.
Marie’s six grandchildren must get the biggest kick out of seeing and eating at these adorable tables when they visit during the week.
The round woven orange placemats work so well against the dark color of the table. They create a nice separation between the black dinner plates and the other Halloween dishware.
Notice the adorable light bulb glasses.
They are so cute! I’ve never seen glasses like that before! I asked Marie where she found those when I was there and taking photos. Of course, now I’ve completely forgotten. I’ll text her today to ask again. I found some very similar ones here: Light bulb Drinkware.
In this view of the table, you can see in the distance the delightful staircase I shared in yesterday’s post. If you missed that post, you’ll definitely want to check it out! You’ll find it here: Inside Marie’s Home for Halloween.
Thanks so much to Marie for sharing this fun, whimsical Halloween table! Happy Halloween to you!
Looking forward to all the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

Tablescape Thursday
If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up.
You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please let me know if you click on a link and find it isn’t a tablescape or table related so I can remove it.
This party has ended, click button below for the links to all who participated.
How spooktacular! Those lightbulb glasses are a hoot. Marie must have loads of fun pulling out all her stuff, let alone the grandkids!
Thanks for sharing, Susan!
Thanks, Rita! It’s a joy to share her tables! Happy Halloween to you! Have an awesome weekend!
Those ghosts (tea light holders?) are one of the cutest Halloween items I’ve seen.
They really are cute! I love happy Halloween tables. 🙂
Your friend Marie is like you. She has all the right things with which to create.
She’s been collecting for many, many years. I love seeing what she comes up with each year.
What a great table! I love the plate stack – you’re right about the orange setting off the other pieces, and they’re so pretty individually too! Thanks so much for sharing Marie’s wonderful creativity! 🙂
Thanks, Barbara…love sharing her fun Halloween tables! 🙂
Marie’s tables are always so amazing and fun! Thanks Susan!
Happy Halloween and Happy Autumn, Jenna!
I love her tables. I leave my two main tables set throughout the holidays too. They just make for such fun decor.
They do! I love that idea, keeping them set! So fun!
Wonderful decorations but where on earth does she store all this stuff?
Marie has a huge lower level/daylight basement. In the past I actually posted some photos of that area when she had set the bar area down there. Anyway, she has tons of storage in her basement so plenty of storage space for her decorations there.
Love your site. I am looking for the wonderful sign you made for your UPS, USPS, FED EX etc delivery people at holiday time to print a copy, I followed your lead last year and my delivery people were so appreciative of the drinks and snacks left for them!!!
Thanks so much, Pamela! I know what you mean, my UPS guys appreciated it so much, one of them made a special trip back to my home when he was off-duty (I saw him in my ring doorbell) just to deliver a thank-you note. He left the note on my bench outside on the porch. I couldn’t believe he took the time to do that. They really do appreciate it! You’ll find a link in this post where you can print out the sign: https://betweennapsontheporch.net/a-small-gift-to-those-who-deliver-our-packages-during-the-holidays/
Just click on that link in the post and it will take you to where you can print it out.
I already posted my adorable Halloween table last Thursday and yes, I too enjoy creating it too !
This post is about a Fall luncheon I hosted at home yesterday.
Thank you so much for the wonderful tablescape party.
Hugs,
Fabby
Getting ahead of the season, but I don’t remember if Marie has any of those life-sized Santas like are pictured on the Horchow website. Dang, I hope she does, cuz I want someone I “know” to own one (or many more).
lol I hope so, too! I’ll try to visit and take pictures this year to share. Here are a couple of Christmas tours of Marie’s home from previous years and there is a life-size Santa on the lawn! 🙂

Oh, I so want to be one of Marie’s grandchildren. ☺ -Brenda-
I always enjoy your posts of Marie’s holiday decor. I am wondering about the centerpiece of this table, it looks like a cake dome or divided server. Do you have any info on it?
Sherry, I checked with Marie since I wasn’t sure what that piece was and she replied back, “That is a wooden bowl handmade by an inmate in the GA Correctional Center. I judge an art show of inmate art every year and I have bought several pieces. It is a group that records inmates reading books to their children or grandchildren.”
