2 Summery Table Settings & 1 Beach-Themed Hutch Makeover

Welcome to the 672nd Tablescape Thursday!

Happy Summer! I hope you are staying well! Unfortunately, I’m sick with a yucky cold. When I arrived at my son’s home, my youngest grandson was sick with what appeared to be a nasty, summer cold. I’ve been watching him this week while his parents are working so guess who has a cold now. Ugh.

I had planned to go out somewhere yesterday to check out the tablescaping goodies in the local stores here–thought it would be fun to see how similar or different it would be to what I always find in my local shops. That didn’t happen–I just did not feel up to it.

So today I’m sharing a few spring/summer tables from the past. Click any title below to view that table in full.

  3. I hope you and your grandson feel better soon Susan!!! Summer colds are the worst! Hugs, Brenda

  4. Dawn Marie Pinnataro says

Bummers on the ‘summer cold’, hoping it really is just ‘a cold’…I just read in my local news this morning that several local positive covid patients thought they just had ‘bad summer colds’ and that the new symptoms do mimic a bad cold, when they actually all are positive for the delta variant. Hope you all get well fast! Take care!

  5. Claire S Hallman says

Take care, that Summer cold may very well be the Delta variant. Hopefully it isn’t but it might bear checking into.

  6. There’s an upside and an downside to the grandkids. But they’re worth it.
    Feel better soon!

  7. Taking care of “business” even when you don’t feel well! Hope you and the little one are feeling better soon. Always enjoy your past settings and then it makes me go through your other posts as well.

  8. I hope you and Charlie feel better soon, Susan. I know how much you love summer and don’t want to miss a minute of it. Try to watch some fireflies tonight. That will help you feel better.

  9. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

  10. Hey Susan, I hope you feel better soon. Hugs!

My favorite of the tablescapes you posted is the one with Emma’s Garland plates and the bee skep mini soup tureens. I drool big puddles every time I see those bee skeps LOL!! And I was able to find 8 Emma’s Garland salad and dinner plates—you are a good influence on me!! . (Shhhh…….don’t tell my husband LOLOL!)

Thanks for another beautiful Tablescape Thursday! XO

  11. I remember that magnolia centerpiece table well–it’s one of my faves. I love the simplicity of summer whites.

  12. Bobbi Duncan says

Beautiful table settings & beachy hutch styling, Susan. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs!

  13. Beautiful tables! Hope you feel better soon. I hate summer colds!
    Hugs,

  14. I have a summer cold too. Probably from my son he had it last week. Take care.

  15. Cyndi Raines says

Hope you and your grandson get better fast! Love the beach dishes displayed on your porch hutch and I noticed a box that says “Seaside Tresures”. Do you remember where you purchased it? I am assuming it opens up to house the treasures. How cool! Get better my friend, hugs to you.

  16. Very pretty tables and who doesn’t love magnolias ?
I never get a cold but this year I seemed to have a cold. A cardiologist who has a radio program talked about RSV, usually like a cold for children. He said it’s airborne and this year, everybody was getting it.
    Feel better soon.

  17. I hope you can get well soon. It’s going around here, too. My niece and her husband caught it from their baby. My sister then caught it trying to help watch the baby while parents worked. Then the husband caught it again! Nasty, and they’ve tested to make sure it wasn’t a Covid variant.

  18. Fun looking back at your wonderful summer tables! Hope you feel better soon!

  19. Anne Shaheen says
