Welcome to the 505th Tablescape Thursday!
Recently I received a lovely email from Ruth who said, “Our local Hospital Auxiliary had their annual tea, fashion show and raffle. Local businesses provide wonderful gift baskets, always a hit and good fundraiser.
Each “hostess” is given a table for ten and then has to think of a theme and decorate. The country club where we have it supplies the plain white tablecloth, napkins and dishes, but the ladies come up with the rest so that important aspect of the tablescapes is missing.”
Some of the themes Ruth saw at this festive event included Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, Birthday, Music and a Beach theme with gummy sharks.
There was a cute Ladybug table…
…and a Luau table with a lei decorating each chair. Ruth said, “the favor to take home from that table was tropical socks.” How fun!
Ruth said, “My absolute favorite was the fairy table.”
Love how the backs of the chairs were decorated with fairy wings!
Another favorite of Ruth’s was this table in red and black celebrating the Chinese New Year.
So many pretty tables!
Ruth said, “I think one table was celebrating 25 years of the luncheons, but I did like the “Miss America” table with sashes, in this case the areas the hospital served.”
Thanks so much to Ruth for sharing all these wonderful themed tables! So many creative and fun ideas, I loved seeing them all!
Looking forward to all the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up.
You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yup, that really happens, unfortunately.)
These are honestly my favorites… creative tablescapes!! Just charming as all get out!! Thanx!! franki
Wow those were all wonderful tables. So much creativity and for a good cause. I bet it’s a lot of fun to attend such an event! I’m glad she shared this with you and all of us! Thanks as always for hosting!
They were all wonderful, but my fav was the “Fairy Tale” table. Loved the butterfly headbands that everyone could wear. Too cute and clever. Thanks Susan for sharing.
What a clever and fun idea! The tables were all so different too. I hope it was a huge success.
Total cuteness overload! Love the different theme. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
So cute and fun to see all the various decorated tables! I think the lady bug table was my favorite. Hard to select just one.
I enjoyed looking at all the tables. Decorating was so unique on each table.
Such creativity on these tables! Thanks for sharing them and for hosting each week.
What a beautiful and fun setting for the hospital. What a happy time in a not so happy place.
Thank you for hosting this space for us, ‘Tablescape Thursday’ party dear Susan. Bloggers don’t tablescape hardly anymore, many parties look more like Cooking clases, which make me give up on blogging sometimes; not that I don’t cook or bake, but is not like I’m posting everyday the food I cook…well, whatever!
Have a wonderful weekend dear.
