Welcome to the 611th Tablescape Thursday!
Just wanted to say again, thank you SO MUCH much for all the great comments left on my recent post titled, Where Would You Like to Live for the Rest of Your Life? Comments continue to be coming in each day on that post and I appreciate each and every one because I have found them to be incredibly helpful. Hearing about your experiences has taught me so much and I truly, truly appreciate it! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
If you are trying to decide where to live and/or what lifestyle you would like in your “retirement” years (and I put “retirement” in quotes because I don’t ever want or plan to really retire) be sure to check out that previous post here: Where Would You Like to Live for the Rest of Your Life? I know I’ll be going back reading your comments over and over because I have found them invaluable!
Tablescape Thursday
Father’s Day is just a few weeks away. Though not trying to stereotype all men into the category of preferring only masculine-themed tables (because not all men do) for this week’s Tablescape Thursday I’m sharing a few tables I’ve put together over the years that have a bit more of a masculine feel in case the Dad in your life would enjoy that type table for his special Father’s Day dinner.
Some of the tables I’m sharing may be decked out for autumn because I tend to do more masculine-feeling tables in the fall. Just ignore the fall decorations and take from those tables the other elements that could make them work for your Father’s Day setting. I’ve also included a few nautical-themed tables for the ocean-loving guy.
Hope you enjoy the whimsical fun found in each of these table settings!
(Click the title link below to access that table setting in full.)
A Woodland Table for the guy (or gal) who love hiking, hunting, fishing, camping and being out in nature.
For the guy who likes adventure…
A Woodland Table Celebrating the Beauty of the Northwoods Forest
This table would work for the nature/animal lover or the guy who loves to hunt or fish.
For the guy who loves camping and being outdoors…
Another nautical table for the beach/ocean/sailing loving guy…
Deer-themed Candlelight Setting
For that late evening dinner by candlelight…
A Mystery-Lovers Table Setting
Looking forward to all the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.
That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)
Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.
Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.
This party has ended, click button below for the links to all who participated.
Susan, I can’t decide the one to be my favorite, so I choose them all.
Fantastic. Each one super charming.
Hope “that first attempt @ posting”…didn’t go..*sigh*. Your tablescapes are SO creative!! We usually do flags since hubs b’day is the 14th. I never knew “retirement” could make one so weary!! We “retired” to a 2 acre, log cabin on a 300 mile shoreline lake. We built everything ourselves. I do enjoy sitting in my gazebo swing, on the water watching the soap bubblemaker confuse the herons, etc. Then there IS the waterfall hubs made…ok, it IS pretty sweet. franki
*pictures, pictures, pictures!*
I love the safari Tablescapes! So unique and fun. I always love all your nautical Tablescapes as well. Always a fun party here on Mondays and Thursdays. Thanks for hosting each week!
Karin
Oh I love your safari theme table!! Thanks you Susan!
All so different! Oooh, I’d forgotten about the safari one. And that mystery-lovers tablescape is so unusual. Plus it appears that the mystery remains unsolved to this day
I remember all of these from when you first posted them and I love the autumnal – masculine feel. Tartans and plaids, woodsy decor, a ‘mystery’ theme – what’s not to love? Thanks, Susan.
You are so creative – these are all wonderful! I can’t wait to dive into them (especially the one with the books and duck!) 😉 Beautiful link ups today too – so much fun inspiration ahead! Thanks for the opportunity every week to see so much loveliness in one place! Happy Thursday and take care!
Thank you so much for hosting! This week I am excited to share Week 4 of the One Room Challenge, an easy rustic DIY backsplash, and summer porch decor! Hope you have a great day and are staying safe and healthy!
The mystery table is such a unique idea!! Love them all though.
Every time I thought I liked one best the following one was even better. They are all fantastic. Thanks so much for hosting. I love seeing all the different Tablescapes. Stay safe, healthy & sane during these trying times.
XO- MaryJo
