Welcome to the 844th Tablescape Thursday! Happy Thanksgiving—it’s almost here! Since I know so many of us are busy preparing for visits with family and friends, for this week’s Tablescape Thursday, I thought I’d share some favorite recipes that you may find helpful for Thanksgiving Day and beyond. Click on any link below to access a printable version of that recipe.
Delish Breakfast Casserole: My daughter-in-law makes this wonderful breakfast casserole from time to time and it is so good, I always go back for seconds! My friend, Teresa, made it a while back and said it was a big hit with her family, too. You’ll find the recipe here: Delicious Breakfast Casserole.
This Champagne punch that I make every year will have your guests asking for the recipe! I always print out a few copies in advance since everyone wants the recipe! It’s always a huge, huge hit and it’s great with Thanksgiving or Christmas breakfast/brunch. (Pssst: Leave off the festive red/green sugared rim for Thanksgiving, if you prefer. Or, maybe choose a different color of sugar.) You’ll find the recipe here: Champagne Punch.
Looking for an appetizer to serve family and friends while the turkey finishes roasting? Check out Norma’s beautiful recipe for making this savory taste that looks like the sun! You’ll find the recipe here: Tarte Soleil.
I’ve made this cheese ring for parties and it’s always a big hit. You’ll find the recipe here: Strawberry Cheese Ring Appetizer.
Not sure where it gets its funny name, but these Devils on Horseback are sooo good and would make a great appetizer or snack! I’ve taken them to gatherings and everyone wants the recipe. You’ll find the recipe here: Devils on Horseback.
Looking for a great soup recipe to serve with your Thanksgiving feast? Here are a few that I’ve made and very much recommend. You’ll find the recipe for this Roasted Pumpkin Soup here: Roasted Pumpkin Soup.
The recipe for this delicious Butternut Squash Soup is available here: Roasted Butternut Squash Soup.
I almost always make this wonderful Sweet Potato Casserole, found in a Southern Living magazine, every Thanksgiving. I love how the topping is a mix of crunchy goodness and toasted marshmallows! You’ll find the recipe with a few extra tweaks that I usually make here: Sweet Potato Casserole.
My mother-in-law always made Squash Casserole for Thanksgiving and I loved it so much, it’s the recipe I use every Thanksgiving, too. You’ll find it here: Squash Casserole.
Here are some of my favorite desserts to serve during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays! (Click any recipe title below to access that dessert.)

Looking forward to the beautiful table settings linked below for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!
If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.
Yummy looking dishes. Are you safely in Ohio ?
