Tablescape Thursday

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

  1. Susan, all of these are so pretty. The greens and whites are so refreshing and Spring-like. I remember your cookie tree – so cute! Thank you for hosting the linkup.

  2. Thank you for the St. Paddy’s Day table inspiration Susan! I’m green with envy over your sweet shamrock tea set!

  3. I love all your St. Pat’s tables Susan, but the cookie tree is my favorite! Thanks for the party today

  4. I love all of your tablescapes. I have one question where and how do you store all of your lovely glassware, dishes, table linens and silverware? Can you do a segment sometime on that? Thanks! think spring, think spring (Northern Michigan with lots of snow today)

  5. I’d never thought to use my Sculptured Daisy for St. Patrick’s Day but it works! Those were the first set of dishes that I bought. I was in high school/college working at McRae’s Department store and could get a discount by charging on my account. I saved and saved and then bought them and paid them off as soon as I could. After 40 years I still have (and love) those dishes. If the sun will just peak out a little bit I’ll get those out and make a pretty Spring tablescape with them.

  6. Beautiful and inspiring tables!…Christine

  7. These are such fun ideas!! Thanks for hosting!

  8. Hi Susan,
That is a beautiful tablescape! I looks so fresh and cheerful.

    Thank you for hosting,
    Carolyn

  9. I gave the wrong information about the birdhouse. It is Heartwood from Star Mississippi. Please check it out. They are fantastic and I love their birdhouses.

  10. Susan, your St. Paddy’s tables have me smiling with glee. They certainly are a breath of fresh spring. I so enjoy being on your porch with the gentle breeze swaying the sheers. Love the cookie tree. What a cute idea for a centerpiece. I’ve been out of town, but have the valentine things mostly packed away. Easter bunnies and eggs are to make an appearance soon. A new season is always energizing. Thanks for sharing the inspiration.

  11. Oh I love all of these settings!! I really really love the cookie tree. !!!!

  12. You are awesome! Love all your posts and pictures. Your home and furnishings are beautiful and your tablescapes are inspiring. But, I am so nosy and curious. Where do you keep it all? Thanks.

  13. Wherever did you get your lovely Leprechaun? Gorgeous tables. Thanks for sharing!

  14. I do love all of your Saint Patrick’s Day posts! They have been inspiring me since I saw my first tablescape. The bunny with the shamrocks and the St. Pat on the table are my favorites. Thank you for Hosting today.

  15. Looks like some of us have St. Patrick’s Day on our minds! I remember all of these Tablescapes. I like that big Leprechaun you have- I’ve never seen anything that large available.

  16. I’ve got to try my hand at the napkin fold. Lot’s of great inspiration here. Thanks, Susan! Maybe, I’ll catch some cabbage and potatoes at a parade and then serve them with the clover napkin alongside. 🙂

  17. Three years ago I was pregnant with my second child. Nesting was setting in, in a major way and I wanted to make a tablescape and I wanted one now! It was near St. Patrick’s day so I googled and I found you! I have been hooked ever since! Thank you for all you do and all you share with us! And as usual, all of the tablescapes are stunning! Happy “Anniversary” haha!

  18. St Patrick’s Day feels a bit like the opening ceremony of the olympics, except for spring: let the season begin!

  19. What pretty St. Patty’s tables! I remember several of them. Thanks for hosting each week. I am SO ready for Spring!!!

I’m loving all of your tablescapes! One question – when you set-up for March, will you leave the St. Pat’s Day decor up all month or just that week? Ready for spring here in North Carolina!

    • Thanks, Melissa! I usually leave it up until to enjoy another holiday or season comes along. The tables don’t stay up, though. They usually come down after they are used or after I’ve taken photos for the blog.

Thank you for the quick response! At least for this year, it looks like we can switch out to Easter right after St. Pat’s Day. I ordered the tall Pottery Barn bunny and he arrived today! I’m SO excited!!

I so enjoyed seeing all of these lovely St. Patrick’s tablescapes once again. I don’t decorate for this holiday now that the kids are grown and on their own, but your ideas make me want to. Perhaps I’ll get to try out some of these for the grands. I just love the St. Paddy figure, the cookie tree, and the shamrock shaped napkins–you always come up with touches that put the look over the top. It’s almost spring–YES!!!!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
