Welcome to the 754th Tablescape Thursday! I had planned to set a table this week in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, but I had such disappointing news at my dental appointment yesterday, it zapped all the creativity right out of me. I’m getting a “second opinion” on Friday, but I’m sure it will probably be the same.
With Saint Patrick’s Day just a little over a week away, I hope you enjoy this compilation (with links) of some of the table settings I’ve put together over the years. ☘ Click any title link below to view that tablescape in detail. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! ☘

Dear Susan, So sorry to hear about your dental issue. I just had to have a crown replaced because of a cavity under the crown. They found it on x-ray but it wasn’t causing me any problem. I was thankful my dental insurance paid for half of the procedure so my share was only $500. ONLY! Sending prayers and a hug to you. xx oo
So glad they caught it, Vikki! You would never expect that to happen!

Sorry to hear about your dental issues Susan. I had the same thing happen to me this week so am getting a 2nd opinion also . Good luck to you!
I always covet your white chargers from Horchow. Really versatile and special.
Thanks, Ranger! I hope you get some good news during that second visit. ♥ I’m not optimistic that they will recommend anything different, but feel like I need to make sure.

What a great collection – I love the daffodils, and Mr Bunny too! So sorry that you’re having dental trouble. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get a better diagnosis, or that the procedure goes smoothly – and inexpensively. In the meantime, thanks so much for hosting this beautiful party – hope you can continue to enjoy it pain-free! Happy Thursday!
Thanks, Barbara! Fortunately, my 2nd opinion visit went much better and I’m really happy about it. Now I just have to hope it holds. Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Take care, Susan! When I get bad news, or simply have a bad case of “The Worries”, it does indeed take away all of my creativity and motivation. Just when I need it most! I am still savoring all of the Saint Pat’s Day tables in this post. I’m still working on my ideas for that day. Hmm. Low creativity here!
Thanks, Tina! Yes, it totally took all mine away but I am optimistic after today. Keeping my fingers crossed! I hope your creativity comes roaring back. ♥
Dental issues definitely sap any creativity. Just about any health issues really.
I love how you can incorporate Mr. Rabbit into any season, and all the things he has toted over the years.
Thanks, Mia! I need to bring him out to play this spring! I kinda forget what I have now that all the centerpieces are stored down in the basement storage room.
Some things are timeless, as in tablescapes. I noticed 2017 all the leaves were on the trees.
I thought of you yesterday. I had a three tooth bridge and one of the teeth under the bridge decayed that created a problem. Before moving to this area, I had a dentist and hygienist I loved and just haven’t found anyone I like as much. Makes such a difference. Good luck on the second opinion.
I noticed that and wondered how I managed to set a Saint Patrick’s Day table with leaves on the trees, then I realized I set it during the month of August in honor of an upcoming trip to Ireland. So it’s sort of a St. Patrick’s Day table, but not exactly. lol
Thanks! The second opinion visit went a lot better than the first one–thank goodness!
The things we notice. LOL
I notice a lot more when I take photos of my plants that are blooming.
I feel like dentist are pushing dental implants today.
That’s exactly what I had recommended to me. My previous dentist that I’ve been going to for 20 years is semi-retired but I went back to his practice for a 2nd opinion since he did the original crown, and they were able to do another crown. Hopefully, this works–they were optimistic. If it does, it will have saved me a lot of angst and pain over the next 4-5 months.
Myrna, I’m sorry you are having to go through this. I hope they are able to take of your issue quickly and as painlessly as possible! ♥
Love all your table varieties, Susan. I set one for St Patrick’s Day that’s a little out of the ordinary, but an homage to both my heritage and the Irish culture of Town amd Country. Have a good weekend. I’m having to run out and cover peonies that’ve grown tall enough I don’t want them to freeze!
Thanks so much, Rita! I’m glad you mentioned that. I went ahead and wheeled my annuals back into the garage for the night, although I think we’re only getting down to around 36, but that’s close enough to freezing that I didn’t want to take a chance. I hope your peonies make it through just fine. I love peonies!
Last one. Be careful putting plants in the garage. Critters crawl into the holes in the bottom of pots to stay warm and hibernate. I save left over screen and cut into squares to cover the holes before I put dirt into the pots. My rule is if it goes outside it never comes in again. Particularly here in the south.
Yikes! Thanks for the warning! 🙂
Thank you for sharing this beautiful Saint Patrick’s Day tablescape. You have lovely dishes.
HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY

Mary,
It was great to see all your St. Patrick’s Day tables!! I love the way you have used some special items in a few tablescapes, but in a different way. Your tablescapes are gorgeous!
Thank you!
